NUNEATON staged a thrilling comeback to claim the spoils at home to Royston and give boss Jimmy Ginnelly the perfect boost following their opening-day defeat.
The home side dominated early and twice went close with Kane Richards being denied by an excellent save from Dimitrios Kyriatzis shortly before Matt Stenson rattled the woodwork.
Boro were made to pay for those missed chances when Royston opened the scoring just before the half-hour, Dan Newton rising to head a free-kick beyond keeper Tony Breeden.
Not that the lead lasted long tho...
