DOMINANT Bracknell Town gave their fans a great away day as they saw off a second-half comeback from Merthyr.
The visitors were so much on top during the opening 45 minutes that Merthyr were relieved only to be a single goal down at the break.
In the searing heat it was Jordan Esprit who kept his cool to produce a good finish after the home side had been guilty of giving away possession to Gary Abisogun.
The home side were fortunate a few minutes before half-time when a shot from Ashley Lodge flew just wide.
