CHESHAM came from behind to win a game which burst into life in the second half.
Almost the only action of note in the first period came when Chesham skipper Roddy Collins was carried off after 38 minutes after falling awkwardly and twisting a knee.
As a result there were eight minutes of stoppage time and Gosport took the lead in the eighth. Harvey Bradbury seized on Eoin Casey’s headed pass back, keeper Sam Beasant saved but the ball ran loose for Dan Wooden to score.
For a while it seemed as if Chesham might lose their record...
