POOLE returned to action for the first time in three weeks and registered their first home victory of the season with an emphatic win against Yate.
Poole made the perfect start taking the lead after only three minutes.
Tony Lee’s header found Toby Holmes who offloaded to Wes Fogden who fired the ball in to the corner of the net.
Poole doubled their lead when Will Spetch’s long cross found Lee, whose precision header found the far corner.
