IVES ensured that The Pitmen’s dismal run of form continued as they claimed their first maximum return at quattro tech Westwood Road since August Bank Holiday Monday.
The visitors looked like a team low on confidence throughout the first period as Ives got their noses in front courtesy of a very well taken Kieran Higgs goal in 27th minute. They could have added to that as Jonny Edwards went close twice and Callum Milne had a header cleared off the line.
