IT LOOKED like all the hard work by the grounds team and the frost covers had worked their magic to get this game on.
But a drop in temperature and a half-time huddle in the goalmouth, saw this game finally bite the dust, or more accurately the frost, at the break after a goalless first half.
It was also a relatively event-free first half too. More than 20 minutes had passed before either goalkeeper had any meaningful input and then it was a simple save for Dan Wilks in the home goal from Herson Alves’s 3...
