BASFORD returned to winning ways with a comfortable win over Alvechurch at Greenwich Avenue.
Courey Grantham tallied his third in two outings with a deflected strike before Ben Starkie’s volley doubled the Ambers’ half-time lead. Lewis Carr rounded off the win with a firm header 18 minutes from time.
Church looked neat in possession early on, but did little to trouble Kieran Preston in the home goal; Jack Concannon the closest they came to an opener after just three minutes.
