DAN CREANEY scored twice as Tamworth stretched their lead at the top of the table with a win over Basford United.
The Lambs’ talisman scored a first with a well-taken strike early on, before Eoin McKeown scored a second five minutes before the break.
Anthony Dwyer reduced the arrears seconds later, but Creaney added a second midway through the second period to seal maximum points.
The table-toppers took only eight minutes to go ahead. A back-post corner was punched halfclear by Kieran Preston, but Creaney was on hand to smash home ...
