MERTHYR Town produced one of their best performances for many seasons as they ripped Salisbury apart.
The game started awfully for Salisbury as, in the fourth minute, goalkeeper Toby Steward, under pressure from Riccardo Rees, lost the ball to the striker, who wasted no time in putting the ball into the empty net.
It was a disastrous start for the 17-year-old signed a day earlier on loan from Portsmouth.
In the 20th minute, Curtis Jemmett-Hutson collected the ball outside the Salisbury box and fired a shot which was too strong for Steward to stop...
