REDDITCH United returned to winning ways and put behind them their Rushall Olympic horror show to rise to eighth, after Jack Byrne and Murphy Culkin goals downed St Ives Town.
Knowing they could slip below their opponents with a defeat, the Reds were well aware a strong response was needed after last weekend’s disappointment and deservedly took a 14th-minute lead through skipper Byrne’s imposing header from a Reece Flanagan corner.
