THE spoils were shared at Bolitho Park in a game that was largely attack versus defence for long periods.
The opening stages were played in a cagey fashion and it was Hartley Witney who had the first chance of the game after eight minutes as new signing Afo Soyemi drew a good save from Harry Lee.
This fired the home side into life and they grew into the game creating a number of chances for Jack Crago, Ben Seymour and Dan Rooney, but Marcin Brozozowski in the Hartley goal stood firm.
