ROCK-BOTTOM North Leigh welcomed Gosport Borough to Eynsham Park off the back of back-to-back victories, but slipped to a one-goal defeat.
The hosts created the first good chance of the game, when Levi Steele’s header missed the target by just a few yards.
It was against the run of play when Gosport opened the scoring after
18 minutes. An unconvincing punch from North Leigh’s keeper sent the ball into Kyal Williams’ path, who lashed the ball into the back of the net.
