RELEGATION was finally confirmed for Diamonds, despite a best performance in many weeks in holding high-flying Leiston to a goalless draw.
Diamonds earned the better chances and defended well, but were indebted to Dean Snedker for a 60th-minute penalty save.
An even start saw Finlay Barnes and Ben Fowkes test the home defence.
