THE points were shared at Bloomfields, with both goals coming in a lengthy first half, due to a horrific injury to Needham’s Patrick Brothers.
In truth it wasn’t the best of games to watch, with very little clear-cut chances.
Needham had a half chance in the 13th minute when Ross Crane smashed a shot wide.
Nuneaton, however, took the lead nine minutes later, Scott McManus’ long through was punched away as far as Ryan Beswick whose pass was diverted home off the knee of Kane Richards.
