EVEN though Bedford weren’t crucified in their Good Friday match, their defeat at home to Redditch United means that if the Eagles are to resurrect any hope of staying in Step 3, then the miracle must start on Easter Monday.
Without a league win in 2023, and a goalless March, moving into April, Bedford had the worst start to the game after a soft free-kick to the visitors, on the left flank, was played in to the area, and headed home by Redditch captain, Jack Byrne, with just seven minutes on the clock.
