WINCHESTER avenged their heaviest away defeat of the season with victory over Hayes & Yeading to all but ensure that they avoid finishing in the bottom four. It was another impressive showing from the home team.
Winchester are now 10 points ahead with a superior goal difference of the only team in the bottom four who can catch them.
Winchester took the lead in the sixth minute when a delightful through ball by Ollie Balmer set up Warren Bentley to score.
