BRACKNELL Town ran out the clear winners in a fiercely contested battle that saw them secure themselves the second-place spot as they head into the play-offs.
The visitors caught Plymouth Parkway cold and went ahead after just four minutes when the impressive Mickel Platt prodded home to open the scoring.
This galvanised the home side, who created many chances throughout the first half but couldn’t find the equaliser thanks to some good goalkeeping from Michael Eacott in the Bracknell goal.
