THEY say in football never check the league table until you’re about five games into the season.
However, Mickleover fans will be checking the table this weekend as their side sits top of the table thanks to a fine win over Berkhamsted.
It took until just before half-time for Mickleover to break the deadlock. Some neat play in the middle of the pitch saw the Mickleover midfield work the ball to Andrew Dales. The winger put it on a sixpence for Marcus Barnes who made no mistake from close range.
