MERTHYR Town turned on the style with a strong second-half show to emerge victorious at Holloways Park, with Frazer Thomas grabbing a hat-trick.
A largely even first period gave little hint of the lopsided final result.
Even then the opening goal was as good an effort as you’re likely to see anywhere this season. Oliver Mehew fed
Thomas on the right.
Thomas stepped in onto his left foot, made room and shaped a delicious effort that looped 25 yards across and over Beasant into the opposite top corner.
