WINCHESTER City were beaten at home by Sholing in their first official game of the season.
The Citizens were winning 2-0 at home to Walton & Hersham last weekend before rain stopped play, but this Saturday was dramatic for different reasons.
Sholing started the game brightly with an effort inside the opening minute, and the Boatmen took the lead after an error by keeper Charlie Philpott.
They doubled their lead three minutes later from the penalty spot thanks to Dan Mason.
