IT WAS honours even after an entertaining game in west London as the visitors hit back for a point.
A young Merthyr side displayed a quick crisp passing game and dominated the opening exchanges before Hayes took control in the second half, allowing no space or time for the Welsh visitors.
There were chances for both teams in the opening exchanges.
Hayes and Yeading took the lead from the penalty spot after a clumsy challenge from Liam Angel on Steve Ngunga.
Norman Wabo made no mistake with the resulting spot-kick.
