ANDY Leese finally tasted league victory at Latimer Park, as Kettering saw off Royston in horrific conditions.
The fact the match even started and finished was a minor miracle with rain continuing to lash down on an already saturated surface.
It was the Crows that had the better of a very unforgettable first half of football, with the dangerous Joseph Boachlie nodding over after 28 minutes and captain Adam Murray unable to beat Billy Johnson one-onone from close range, the best of the paltry opportunities.
