STRATFORD’S scintillating second-half display earned them victory over leaders Mickleover to bring the Derbyshire side’s unbeaten start to the season to an end.
The visitors edged an enthralling first half when Oliver Greaves slid the ball home after 23 minutes following a mazy run by Marcus Barnes.
Mickleover playmaker Andrew Dales was a handful for the home defence and when he set up Barnes on the halfhour mark, a second goal looked on the cards only for Liam O’Brien to deny him with a fine save.
