SHOLING’S unbeaten run of seven matches came to an abrupt end at the hands of Tivvy’s newly appointed manager Leigh Robinson.
Tiverton started the game on the front foot and belied their lowly league position with the opening goal after a quarter of an hour.
Jack Rice was on hand to slide the ball home after the home defence had lost possession.
Sholing went in search of an equaliser but were thwarted by the Tivvy defence.
On the half-hour mark Ryan Gosney denied Tiverton a second goal, making a good save with his feet.
