Clinical Ison piles misery on United

THERE was late heartbreak for bottom of the table Long Eaton United as Lewis Ison scored a stoppage-time winner to extend Stratford Town’s win streak to four matches.
United made a bright start but Stratford soon found their rhythm as they settled into the match and held the majority of possession.
Long Eaton threatened on the counter while the visitors played out from the back.
On the half-hour mark Stratford skipper Paul McCone headed in the opener at the back post.
