CHESHAM won a scrappy game with a scrappy goal.
The home side almost opened to the scoring immediately when Baboucarr Jarra headed a corner narrowly wide
Midway through the half the visitors took the lead from a corner. Hungerford keeper Ryan Clarke had initially pushed away a goalbound effort, but his save looped onto the bar and was seized upon by Ricardo German who headed home from a yard out.
