Geordies’ fine start all for nothing

DESPITE going ahead in the first minute, Hanwell failed to extend their unbeaten run with this disappointing home defeat.
Things had looked so promising for another Geordies win when Jacob Bancroft made no mistake after being put through by Sam Evans with 45 seconds on the clock.
Town threatened again soon afterwards when a low cross from Bancroft eluded everyone, after which the same player miscued a pass from Evans that bounced up at the wrong moment and went over the bar.
