RAMS’ defender Jacques Kpohomouh bookended a fine personal performance with the Rams’ opener after 90 seconds and a last ditch challenge at the death to preserve his side’s clean sheet.
There seemed little danger in the second minute when Josh Paynes’ miscue fell to Kpohomouh in a crowd 15 yards out but he delivered a well struck back heel, straight into the bottom corner.
The visitors responded well, the outstanding Ethan Burden at the heart of everything good they did all afternoon.
