A TOM Newman equaliser earned Berkhamsted a share of the spoils at Alvechurch.
Despite being cut adrift in the relegation zone, Berkhamsted put in a resilient performance and almost netted a winner late on.
Alvechurch went close in the opening minutes when a Nicholas Clayton-Phillips free-kick found Ethan Patterson at the back post, forcing a save from the keeper.
Josh Dugmore was next to threaten the visitors’ goal, but watched as his audacious volley from range sailed just wide.
