POOLE came close to upsetting the form book, but Chesham won the game with two late goals to stretch their lead at the top of the table to 11 points.
This looked to be a home banker as the Generals had won six in a row and Poole had lost six in a row, but the visitors were the better side in the first half. Chesham had the only real chance of the half when Alex Lafleur crossed to Ricardo German, but keeper Lloyd Thomas managed to block at the expense of a corner, but otherwise it was a dismal 45 minutes.
