POOLE faced Walton & Hersham in their first home game since boss Matt Tubbs’ departure.
Poole dominated possession in the first half but Walton were more clinical on the break.
The hosts almost gifted Walton the opener when Tshaka’s weak back-pass was pounced on by Flaherty, but his shot was well saved by Evans.
Walton took the lead when a cross from the left wing saw Kelly charge in unmarked to easily head the ball past Evans.
