LEISTON came through a hard-fought encounter to deservedly take the points.
Berko took the lead after just 20 seconds. Adam Watkins crossed from the Blues’ left and Thomas Newman headed home at the back post.
The lively Max Bustamente MacAire attempted to chip Sam Donkin in goal but his attempt went over the bar on 20 minutes.
The striker went close a while later, shooting into Donkin’s side-netting while Jamar Loza was denied by two good saves by Jamie Head in the away goal and Ross Crane hit the post.
