THE importance of this match was reduced after the Generals clinched the title on Monday, but they celebrated in style with a win over their thirdplaced opposition.
The Salisbury players formed a guard of honour as Chesham took the field, but showed them little respect thereafter.
It was Chesham who took the lead with their first attack after ten minutes, a well-worked goal and quick passing move that ended with Alex Lafleur’s low cross and Bradley Clayton’s neat touch at the near post.
