A GAME that saw both goalkeepers have a hand in all four goals ended in stalemate.
Played throughout in a swirling wind which made life difficult for both teams, it was Sholing who edged the early play, forcing three consecutive corners without troubling Bedwell’s goal.
But it was Didcot who took the lead as a swirling cross caused confusion in the Sholing area and keeper White’s weak punch fell to the feet of Ben Putland who had an easy tap in to make it 1-0.
