HAYES & Yeading picked up a vital away victory in their battle against relegation.
They started brightly and had the first chance after six minutes through Amos Nasha Jnr, whose fine run and cross was deflected off the near post.
This was soon followed by a series of away setpieces that were cleared by Gosport, who saw Rafa Ramos nod wide after 16 minutes.
Any early momentum was halted by two injury stoppages involving Oluwasanmi Odelusi, and this allowed the hosts to regroup.
