AN entertaining opening day encounter saw Royston deservedly run out winners.
The first goal of the campaign was scored by Ed Asafu-Adjaye and it was an early contender for goal of the season.
The Crows won a free-kick just inside the Barwell half, spotting goalkeeper William Highland off his line, Asafu-Adjaye’s audacious effort was perfectly struck as it sailed over the keeper’s head and into the net.
