WITH both sides pointless after their opening two league games, something had to give – and it was visitors Lowestoft who broke their duck.
The hosts started brightly, Brady Hickey firing wide and Jack Rogers’ ball in almost catching out Trawler Boys keeper Luke Holt before dropping over.
Lowestoft went ahead in the 22nd minute when Barwell failed to clear their lines and Louis McIntosh struck.
