Johnny Johnston gave a glimpse of how the pendulum would swing in this one, forcing a stop from the legs of Charlie Binns after five minutes, an attempt that preceded the sole goal of the afternoon.
It came on the 15-minute mark when Wyatt planted a pinpoint effort into the far corner of the net, evading the best attempts of the Blues’ shot-stopper to get a glove to it.
