HUNGERFORD Town secured successive home league victories thanks to Elis Watts’ second-half goal to beat Taunton Town.
In a competitive first half of few clear-cut chances, the visitors came closest when Archie Ferris’ header was tipped onto the crossbar by Ryan Clarke.
Toby Down also came close for the Peacocks when he narrowly flicked a corner wide.
The Crusaders had their share of attacking moments but only had a Zidan Akers header from close range, comfortably held by Adam Parkes, to show for their efforts.
