TWO goals in six first-half minutes proved decisive as Alvechurch recorded a 2-0 victory.
The opening exchanges gave no indication of what was to follow as Royston started on the front foot.
The closest they game was a sharp Harrison Rookard turn and shot that was saved by Charlie Woods, before Woods was again called into action saving Tyrone Baker’s shot, after he had been played in by a smart Luke Johnson through-ball.
