POOLE Town survived a late pounding in the rain to claim victory at the Alfred David Memorial Ground.
The visitors enjoyed the early exchanges, dominating the ball, and could have taken the lead as early as the fourth minute when Billy Lowes rounded Watkins in the Marlow goal, but his shot hit a post.
