GLOUCESTER CITY won this match, but will be wondering why it took them so long to put the game to bed.
Kieran Philips found himself free 15 seconds in and hit a post.
The Tigers had another chance after 11 minutes when a misplaced back pass led to a one on one for Philips, but a fantastic tackle from Alex Salmon saved the blushes.
In the 33rd minute Rhys Harper created Marlow’s best chance when he cut inside from the left wing and fired a right footed shot low and hard, but Jared Thompson made a fantastic save.
