Masidi leaves it late for Stour

STOURBRIDGE moved up to third as Jourdain Nkalambi Masidi’s late deflected winner finally broke Royston Town’s stubborn resistance.
The Glassboys looked to be heading to a frustrating stalemate, until substitute Masidi arrived in the box after 80 minutes to force the ball home and seal victory for the dominant hosts. After a scrappy opening, Stour’s first chance arrived after 16 minutes. Alex Bradley’s powerful strike from the edge of the box was brilliantly turned wide of the post by keeper Tommy Dixon-Hodge.
