Ronto double all in vain as Nikaj wins it

A five-goal spectacle went the way of front-runners Dover against a spirited Canvey Island team.
Canvey netted first early on through Elliott Ronto but Whites forward Ruben Soares-Junior levelled before half-time.
The visitors went ahead again in the second period after an uncharacteristic error by goalkeeper Mitch Walker from a free-kick by Ronto.
But Alfie Matthews equalised for Whites again after 71 minutes and the prolific George Nikaj fired in what proved the winning goal, extending Whites’ unbeaten league...
