TAUNTON TOWN edged past Hungerford Town to leave the visitors just outside the drop zone.
In a tight affair, it was the eventual winners who took the lead when Jayden Nielsen took matters into his own hands, winning possession back and driving at the heart of Hungerford’s defence, before finding the net in excellent individual fashion in the 33rd minute.
Taking that lead into the break, Taunton simply picked up where they left off in the second period – much to Hungerford’s frustration.
