PLYMOUTH Parkway battled hard to secure victory in an evenly contested clash against Gosport Borough.
The visitors came close to an early breakthrough inside the first minute, but Alex Rutter stood firm in the Parkway goal to deny the onrushing attack.
Gosport continued to dominate the first half, creating chances without finding the breakthrough, and the teams went into the break goalless.
Parkway emerged with renewed energy after the restart, applying sustained pressure but struggling to convert their chances.
