SPALDING snapped up the points to keep their promotion prospects alive thanks to a solitary James Clifton goal that resulted from the best move of the match.
A forgettable first half saw chances at a premium for either side, although it was Stourbridge who went closest to breaking the deadlock when the seasoned Tyrone Barnett had a shot blocked on the Tulips’ line by full-back Clifton.
