A SOLITARY goal from leading goalscorer Kieren Donnelly moved Halesowen up to third in the table.
Frugal Banbury forced two early corners before captain Alex Prosser drove wide after six minutes and George Ball also shot over the bar.
The first half produced few chances with Halesowen’s only meaningful effort in the 24th minute when Donnelly was put through by Milan Butterfield but fired wide.
The Puritans then went close to breaking the deadlock when home goalkeeper Dan Platt made a good 26th minute save with his legs from Ball....
