TWO goals from Stourbridge’s veteran striker Tyrone Barnett put Stratford to the sword, further hampering their play-off hopes in the process.
The Glassboys scored their opener on 16 minutes when Jai Verma lofted the ball to the far post where Barnett was lurking and he guided his header beyond Bards keeper Jake Weaver.
The visitors could have added a second towards the end of a dismal opening period when a threaded pass sent Ethan Freemantle in on goal but he was denied by the home keeper.
