HUNGERFORD boss Danny Robinson was using this game as a season reset after the opening two defeats.
Ironically, Hungerford did not play as well as in those opening games but a real positive was the return of skipper Rhys Tyler.
The first half started with a dangerous Tiverton attack, with a Louis Jagger-Cane shot beating Luke Cairney but also just went over the crossbar.
